There is more at work here than mere good feelings. "No haters" is a sentiment older and more wide-reaching than BuzzFeed. There is a consensus, or something that has assumed the tone of a consensus, that we are living, to our disadvantage, in an age of snark—that the problem of our times is a thing called "snark."

@gf As long as nobody is writing something new, it just looks as dead. As you can see it has been awaken again by now! :) In short. Don't trust / follow your friend lawyer, except if you prefer to lose your money. :P I know it's complex and might be tedious for you to read and understand in German (below) but in a nutshell: Don't accept any deal, just stand firm like a rock and reclaim your money back from the credit card company! If that is granted / accepted than the story will be finished. Never did parship dare to go to court until now, nor is any reason to assume that they will in the future!! They would very likely lose the fight in the end. And what is the use for them anyway, because in most of the cases people will be scared and pay! For the few smart ones not accepting to follow blindly they will not move, take it from me! What you have to understand is simply the dynamics of the money story. The one needing to get it back is in bad position, because he will have to go to court first and that is a big hassle. So if you can have your credit card company withdraw the money (they can do it, I can assure you out of own experience) then don't worry. If not, you would have to attack first but even then, finally you would have very good chances of success. That's my opinion and it's based on quite extensive knowledge of similar situations. NB: Don't trust lawyers, another good rule of thumb. ;) Wishing you all the best and good luck!
